Retail Service Manager Duties
Your basic job responsibilities will be to support the merchandising retail sales managers and representatives. In addition, you will have to support the field staff and new recruits by giving them proper training. You may also have to coordinate among the staffs and various departments on merchandising issues. You need to have excellent organizational skills and a personal transport to visit all the stores in a particular zone or district.
Job duties of a Retail Service Manager
- You will have to make coordination between the staff at the different stores and see what they need to run the stores in a smooth and efficient manner. The coordination can be in the form of advice or availability of merchandise at the different stores.
- You will also be responsible for giving training to the staff who have been newly recruited. You must explain them about the policies and mission of the company.
- It will be your duty to explain to the representatives about the expectations of the management from them. Since you will have to do a lot of training and coordination activities, it is expected that you will have excellent written and communication skills.
- You are expected to perform in a multi task and multi fast paced atmosphere. You must be experienced in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
