Hospital Security Job Duties include guarding the hospital premises to ensure the safety and security of the place. There is no specific educational requirement for this position. A candidate having just a high school diploma can also apply for this job. However, it is recommended to undergo training in self defense if you are aiming to get into this position. Hospital Security must be vigilant and ready to work in erratic shifts. One must also possess a good physical stamina as the job requires standing for long hours.

Hospital Security Job Duties

  • Hospital Security needs to halt the cars and other vehicles at the hospital gate and conduct the security check.
  • Hospital Security needs to see to it that the hospital premise is guarded properly and that no unauthorized or illegal activity takes place in the hospital.
  • Hospital Security is required to ensure that no theft or other such activity takes place in the hospital.
  • Hospital Security needs to report about any suspected person to the police.
  • Hospital Security is required to seek help from the police in case the situation goes beyond their control.
  • Hospital Security needs to adhere to the rules and regulations set by the hospital authorities.
  • Hospital Security is required to ensure that the record of the people visiting the hospital is maintained properly and includes the correct in and out time.
