Deputy Retail Facilities Manager Duties
You will have to oversee the daily inspections of the entire retail area and supervise the cleaning, maintenance and the different security activities. Your basic responsibility will be to see that all the areas of the retail outlet are clean and hygienic. You will have to report to the Retail Operations Manager and support and liaise with him.
Job duties of a deputy retail facilities manager
- You will have to assign duties to the cleaning and maintenance workers on a daily basis in all the retail outlets of the company under your jurisdiction. You may assign some tasks on this front to the respective store managers as well.
- You will have to supervise their work personally as the cleaning and maintenance work is done mainly at night. It is your responsibility to see that all the windows, shop fronts and restrooms are clean at the time of opening the outlet in the morning.
- You will also be responsible for decorating the retail outlets during any holiday or during some special promotional events like Christmas or Good Friday.
- You will have to supervise the minor construction or repair work that may become necessary in the retail outlets within your jurisdiction. This also includes small repairing work of bathroom accessories and fittings.
