Business Executive Duties
The basic job duty of the business executive is to assist the people in higher management in doing office work only. Office work can be defined as a wide variety of work which can be done by remaining within the office. The exact nature of job type can vary according to the type of industry the executive is associated with. The inside office work of a hotel will vary a lot with that of a travel agency.
Job Duties of a Business Executive
- The most important job duty of a business executive is to attend calls from Corporate or Institutional clients. These may include the airlines, MNC’s, BPO etc to promote sales of customized products.
- He or she will have to creatively think along with the customer in identifying their promotional needs and work together in meeting such requirements.
- The business executive will have to interact or reply to the emails of the clients and hence he or she is expected to have some basic knowledge of computers word, excel, etc which are very much required.
- The business executive will also try to convert the leads or the enquiries from the clients into orders and he or she is expected to get a handsome commission on that.
